Job description
As a Sales Engineer, you will operate at the intersection of engineering and commercial development, working directly with industrial clients to structure, qualify, and advance impactful decarbonization projects.
​
You will support Epyr’s growth across France and Europe, working closely with the commercial & engineering teams, as well as the cofounders. Your role will combine:

Direct customer interaction and opportunity qualification

Economic and technical analysis of industrial energy needs

Preparation of commercial proposals and negotiations

Support to Epyr go-to-market expansion strategy

Key Responsibilities:
1. ​​Technical & Business Analysis
-
Analyze customer industrial processes and thermal needs
-
Qualify customer business cases from both technical feasibility and economic relevance perspectives
-
Translate technical constraints into concrete commercial proposals
​
2. Sales Enablement and Expansion
-
Support and progressively lead discussions with industrial customers
-
Help prioritize opportunities based on technical fit, value potential, and execution complexity
-
Prepare decision-support materials used in customer discussions and negotiations
​
3. Contribution to Commercial Strategy
-
Contribute to country and sector prioritization analyses
-
Support continuous alignment between product capabilities and market needs, in relationship with the engineering team.​​

Profile
Must Have​​
-
Master’s degree from a leading engineering/ business school or university
-
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
-
Strong interest in industrial decarbonization and energy systems
-
Professional proficiency in English and French

Nice-to-Have:​​

Prior experience in consulting firms, or industrial environments

Previous exposure to energy markets

Knowledge of corporate or project finance
